No payment button (payPal) showing

Post by copy » Fri Aug 25, 2017 8:10 am

I have PayPal enabled, I have it chosen as payment method.

I am assuming that the PayPal button is attached to the invoice??

I have never seen the program in action, so I am guessing.

I assume logic handles payment by creating a paypal button,
once customer pays the payment status changes to paid or what ever it is set for?

Thanks

Once PayPal is enabled, the customer can pay for the invoice through your website. Once customer pays, the invoice status change automatically.

PayPal is enabled as I mentioned.
It is set as pmt method in the invoice.
But no payPal buttons anywhere.

I see the if code
<?php if ($payment_url) { ?>
<div class="col-xs-6 text-right">
<a href="<?php echo $payment_url; ?>" class="btn btn-primary btn-lg"><?php echo $button_make_payment; ?></a>
</div>
<?php } ?>

I setup a customer account to test.
Any idea why the buttons don't show.

Is the invoice status allowed to make payment? The invoice status should be in the list of pending or overdue status set in system > settings.

Thank you

In settings>> Billing>>

Invoice Overdue Status:
I ticked 2 boxes "Overdue" and "Approved"
Invoice Pending Status:
I ticked 2 boxes "Pending" and "Approved"

at the very bottom I changed "Default Overdue Status"
to "Approved"

The paypal buttons are showing now.
